CE Title: Is the GLP-1 Number 1? A Review of GLP-1 Receptor Agonists in Clinical Practice.

Objectives:

• Describe the mechanism of action and clinical use of the GLP-1 receptor agonist medication class.
• Examine landmark trials which have led to guideline inclusions of the GLP-1 receptor agonist medication class.
• Evaluate the reported adverse effects associated with the GLP-1 receptor agonist medication class.
• Design a treatment care plan for patients who are suitable for a GLP-1 receptor agonist.
