•       Describe patient risk factors for extended-spectrum β-lactamases (ESBLs) and recognize ESBL-harboring Enterobacterales

•       Summarize treatment strategies for the treatment of ESBL cystitis and invasive infections

•       Analyze primary literature regarding carbapenem-sparing therapeutic options for invasive ESBL infections
