1. Review the prevalence and epidemiology of opioid use disorder and the impact on society
2. List the types of medications and settings used in medication-assisted therapy and review specific characteristics of each medication
3. Discuss opioid use disorder treatment during pregnancy
4. Illustrate the opioid taper process and implementation of medication-assisted treatment using a patient case
