Please save the date and plan to join us for the Commonwealth Leadership Forum on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg. The Leadership Forum will take place immediately before the VSHP Fall meeting, November 2-3, also at Kingsmill.

There is no charge for directors, managers or a designated leadership team member to attend the Leadership Forum.  We do ask that directors, managers or a designated leadership team member please attend the Reverse Expo that takes place immediately after the Leadership Forum concludes.  Your participation in the Reverse Expo increases the vendor support in VSHP which in turns allows us to put on the CLF for no charge to participants.

The purpose of the Forum is to:

1. Create a core networking group among Virginia Pharmacy Directors and Leaders for the purposes of information sharing and gaining consensus on key issues
2. Gain valuable insight on the role VSHP could play in advancing the practice of Pharmacy statewide and identify the value proposition for organizational leaders and their staff
3. Provide Leader targeted/specific educational content designed to foster understanding of practice trends to better handle issues of the future
4. Align VSHP with decision makers across the state in order to better leverage resources to create value for all

 
The Virginia Society of Health System Pharmacists (VSHP) wants to be your Professional Home. Contemporary Pharmacy Practice Management is becoming increasingly challenging and we have an opportunity to unite and create a professional network that can help us advance practice in the Commonwealth.
 
You are invited to attend the VSHP Leaders' Forum held as we believe your contribution will be valuable. You may also bring one member of your team with you (can be a resident, formal or informal leader in any level of the profession). If you cannot attend, we would appreciate you considering allowing at least one member of your staff, in a leadership capacity, to attend.   VSHP will be covering all planned meal functions.  We ask that you be responsible for your own travel and lodging expenses.

 Continuing Education

VSHP is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This program is approved for 5.5 hours (0.55 CEUs) of continuing pharmacy education credit.  Proof of participation will be posted to your NABP CPE profile within 4 to 6 weeks to participants who have successfully completed the post-test.   Participants must participate in the entire presentation and complete the course evaluation to receive continuing pharmacy education credit.
