1. Summarize the pathophysiology and current pharmacotherapy options for patients presenting with acute ischemic stroke (AIS).
2. Describe tenecteplase as a novel pharmacotherapy option for patients presenting with AIS.
3. Compare tenecteplase with alteplase as pharmacotherapy options for patients presenting with AIS.
4. Evaluate the evidence for tenecteplase and its different dosing regimens for patients presenting with AIS.
5. Identify practical and medication safety considerations for tenecteplase as an agent for AIS.
